Vizspect™ runs entirely on your own Windows computer. It connects to your local copy of Microsoft Visio and to your AI assistant’s client on the same machine. Your Visio documents, figures, and the text in them are never uploaded to us or to any Vizspect server — because there is no Vizspect server.
Vizspect™ does not require you to create an account with us, sign in to a Vizspect service, or give us any personal information to use the app.
Vizspect™ keeps a local log on your machine to help you troubleshoot the server. Each entry records the name, outcome, and duration of a tool call — never the arguments to that call and never the text or contents of your documents. These logs stay on your computer and are not transmitted anywhere.
Vizspect™ works with third-party AI assistants (such as Claude or Codex). When you instruct your assistant to draw or edit a figure, your conversation with that assistant is handled by that assistant’s provider under their own privacy policy and terms — not by Vizspect. Please review your assistant provider’s policy to understand how it handles the prompts and figure descriptions you send it.
Vizspect™ does not include analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, device information, or telemetry.
Vizspect™ is a professional tool intended for patent practitioners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
